What do I do when I can't afford a surgery?

I have had an ovarian cyst for over 4 years now. I've tried everything from hope, birth control, and pain killers. Every time I go to the gynecologist her schedules another ultrasound and another type of birth control. Finally my insurance considered me a "high risk" and raised my payments to the point that I couldn't pay it. Now the pain is worse then ever and my doctor says that surgery is my last option. I've gotten second opinions and they all say the same. However, every insurance companies won't accept my applications because of my "preexisting" condition. The pain is almost unbearable and I can't afford the surgery, let alone if the cyst is malignant. Is there ANY way to afford a surgery without insurance? I'm barely living pay check to pay check. If there is anything I can do please let me know.
