Can home schooling give children the same experiences as going to school?

My daughter was a teenager and having migraine headaches- the school was not understanding of this and it was miserable. I ended up putting her into Connections Academy a free virtual school and it was the best choice I ever made. They have meet up groups to get together if you choose to do so. I can see no disadvantages to this if it makes life easier for all of you.
