Will my passport be flagged?

Hypothetical: if cops search my place and find a meth lab (sufficient to convict me of a felony), but I immediately head to the local airport and escape arrest, would I be able to hop on a plane to another country with my preexisting passport? How long would I have to get on the plane? What's your source?
