If they waive the preexisting condition clause....?

If the insurance at my new job gets the certificate of (I can't remember what it is called), then can I get pregnant without having to wait 12 months? I've had health insurance for a full year with my old job so I have proof. And was only unemployed for 1 week. They say if I provide them with the certificate, they will waive the clause.
