Tonsillitis or glandular fever?

Please help me. I am in considerable pain and the ibuprofen I have been taking has stopped working. I am planning to visit the doctors tomorrow but this is the earliest opportunity I have had, despite having symptoms for just over a week now. I have an incredibly painful throat, swollen glands, ear ache, gum irritation and a headache which comes and goes. I'm terrified it is glandular fever as I understand I'll need a blood test taken and was really hoping someone who has experienced something similar could help. Thanks
