Would this solve the health care problem?
Instead of writing a health care bill of over 2,000 pages, why don't we prohibit insurance companies from dropping people with preexisting conditions if the preexisting condition is not the person's fault, but allow the insurance companies to drop people if the preexisting condition IS the person's fault? In other words, we should divide preexisting conditions into voluntary and involuntary preexisting conditions. Insurance companies should be allowed to drop someone if the preexisting condition is voluntary (like if they make bad health choices on purpose), but not if the preexisting is involuntary.
